JCS Trust Golf Day Event 2023

Charity Golf Event

Joseph Clarke School Trust’s Charity Golf Day took place at Theydon Bois Golf Club on Wednesday 12th July and raised just over £5,000.

The money raised will go towards purchasing Braille related computer equipment, music equipment, organising a trip in 2024 to the Kingswood Activity Centre in Kent etc.

38 intrepid golfers participated on a glorious sunny day and the individual Stableford competition was won by Darrell Creasey.  The Texas Scramble was won by a group of Chris Mitchell, Will McDonald and John McIntytre.  The Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin winners were Tony Forecast and Jay Hill respectively.

In the evening, there was a Presentation Dinner attended by 56 people and the Trust wishes to thank Theydon Bois Golf Club for hosting the event and providing first class facilities as well as excellent meals.

Needless to say, due to the success of this year’s event, the Trust will be returning to Theydon Bois Golf Club next year.
